Dr. Vahe Movsisyan


Vahe Movsisyan is an experienced commercial lawyer additionally specialized in IP, IT, and competition law.


Vahe advises clients in connections with cloud computing, data privacy, IT and telecommunication, software protection, copyright, trademarks, unfair competition, antitrust, including M&A, and property law. He has extensive experience in civil litigation.


Vahe has in-depth expertise in the fields of video game protection, IPRs exhaustion, including exhaustion in the digital environment, and parallel import.


Advised a globally leading software company in an R&D project. 


Advised a number of domestic and international clients concerning IPTV, VoIP, Internet Edge and Broadband services.


Advised Armenian state-owned company in energy sector with regard to the facility transfer agreement. 


Represented and advised an international client in connection with the construction of a hotel in Armenia.


Successfully litigated more than fifty civil cases.

Prior Experience


Before joining ILG, Vahe worked as a Head of the Legal Expertise Department of the Administration of the Cassation Court of Armenia – the highest judicial instance in Armenia.


He taught Contract Law at the Yerevan State University and Civil Proceeding Law at the Russian-Armenian University (Yerevan).
